Regulation Set To Become Even Tougher: Our Q1 Assessment

2018 was a big year for the banks. On the regulatory front, we saw an increasing number of fines, for everything from violating anti-money laundering legislation and breaches in cybersecurity, to errant employees and insider dealing.

We predicted in our article in the Retail Banker at the start of the year that the regulatory environment was set to get even tougher. As the first quarter comes to a close, lets assess how P2 FinCrime’s predictions have played out.
